The itinerary for this cruise is perfect. An overnight in Cuba and then a stop at their lovely private island. Being the lst cruise, we expected that there would be some issues with disembarkation, immigration, excursions but there were no problems. NCL had its act together for this inaugural event. The Sky, while older/smaller than others in the fleet, was immaculate and the staff were upbeat and friendly. There was a show every night with either the dancers/singers or the comedian. Both were very good. Getting thru immigration was no more difficult than in any other place and after your passport is stamped, day 2 is a breeze to get off. We booked 2 NCL excursions which were really good; Vinales Valley (an 11hr outside of Havanna tour) and a walking tour of Old Havanna where you visit 4 historical squares each with different architecture and history. The guides on the NCL excursions are highly educated and their English is great. Our guide was a professor at Havanna Univ before becoming a guide and another was a civil engineer. We were really glad we booked our excursions with NCL. We had no long waits to get into the complimentary dining room and no problems with getting drinks from the bar or at the show. The only reason this is a 4 rating rather than a 5 is the food at the buffet FOR DINNER was not that good but the buffet is fine for breakfast and/or lunch. The softie ice cream at the pool deck is one of the best I've had. Cabin was immaculate albeit "dated" and balcony can only accommodate 2 chairs and a tiny table. Highly recommend this cruise.
