Harmony of the Seas Cruise Review by taintsmasher

- Destination: Western Caribbean
the aqua theater shows are just fantastic, the solarium in the front is a nice place to lay out and get away from the big crowds. The royal promenade was huge there was always something going on in it. The staff was fantastic like any rcl cruise but on the last night prepare for the please give me good review speech.
this intelligent design they talk about is complete crap. The main buffet is very small, i honestly believe the freedom class ships have a bigger windjammer. To get into the buffet there are 4 sinks on each side and they make you wash your hands to get inside, it just causes more congestion during busy times. The gym is so small there are only 6 small windows that the treadmills get to look out of. For the free weights there is a max capacity of 6 people it is just so small for being the biggest ship in the world i know this wont affect everyone but it was just terribly small. The my time dinning make sure you plan your whole week before the cruise or right when you get on, and you will have to go to the dinning room the app will not work. Make sure you do this or you will be like us getting stuck with 845 dinner times.
Now most standard cruise ships have 2 pools for all the guests and 1 for the adults. This boat has 3 for everyone on the hot days it would be so crowded in the pools you physically couldnt get inside. Wonderland is dumb im not a disney freak but it was really dumb. The ultimate abyss is really slow for what you think it is. Central park is another dumb idea its on deck 8 there is nothing but rooms and central park on deck 8 so you never go to it unless you have dinner on it, unless you miss trees you can spend a month on this cruise and never go through central park. Overall the ship itself feels like they are cutting corners they use to have wood railings now they are plastic the dinning room just bland and boring, the new boats just are not as fancy as they use to be. Dont get me wrong this boat is kinda nice it is amazingly smooth it barely rocks, and it was a good experience and it is a beautiful ship. Just the amount of people on it will drive you mad you have to wait in all kinds of lines and constantly bumping into people. To many damn people for me

Labadeewas nice if you like the beach, alot of rocks in the water not ideal for swimming. the lunch they provide is nice gives it that cookout feel. But while we were in the water we found a old syringe and needle floating in the water so be careful around the childrenView All 1,795 Labadee Cruise Port Reviews
