I chose this Ship because of the itinerary, restaurants, size and value. This was my first time on Carnival and was impressed with quality of service, room layout, entertainment and dining. Every crew member I interacted with greeted me by name or gave a friendly hello when passing. I traveled with my mom who has a hard time walking, so we brought a wheelchair with us. The serenity areas are really nice on deck 12 & 13 and are only accesible by stairs, that is my only complaint. The quality of food was really good. We had lobster tail and filet mignon on the formal nights in Golden restaurant. Loved the fresh pattys at Guy's, good included room service menu and quick service, Sea Day brunch in the Platinum restaurant had a awesome variety, Deli sandwiches are delicious and a great variety in the Lido buffet.
Lots of entertainment and activities. My favorites were the Deep Blue Groove Band, Mark at the Piano bar, trivia games and Eric's Q&A. This ship alternates itineraries within the Caribbean, so you can stay on ship and travel to four more countries. Going to do that next time. Our room steward, Hary is awesome. He kept our room clean and stocked. We love the towel animals. Great ports.
