Having not sailed Silver Seas for some years it was with some interest we ventured back having sailed with Regent the past four times over the past year. For space this ship really is hard to beat almost like a private sailing on occasions.
A downside is being advised what to wear in the evenings ,I much prefer the Regent and Seabourn "country club casual" which in addition to being much more comfortable saves on packing space. The other down side is the charging for a couple of restaurants,on premium ships like this it should not be the case and unlike Regent unless you are hot off the blocks and make reservation months in advance even paying you wont get in as the regulars seem to book in even if they want to eat in them or not. The supper club idea really dosen't work and thought should be given as to what this could be turned into ,clearly dosen't work as it was empty most of the time with very few repeat visits.
The transportation in most ports is wonderful and the agents used on this sailing all top class.
