Past experience with sailing on at Cunard Ships - Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary.
I wanted to comment on the treatment we were given by our steward, Leo, our head waiter, Ryan, our waiter, Arnold (Arnie), and our assistant waiter, Dexter (Dex). We were totally treated by Leo in our cabin (there were 3 of us in 6197) - he asked us what he could do to help us but never was intrusive. I was so impressed that he knew each of our names and called us that when we saw him in the halls. We had a major issue with the commode - periodically would not flush and Leo saw to it that we had staff fixing the issue at least 5 times. We never had anything overflow. Leo continually asked us if things were all right and handled any requests with a smile and immediate attention.
Our dining experience was great. We were at the late seating (table 291). We were at a table for 6 but only had more than the 3 of us for about 5 days. Ryan checked every day with how we were doing and saw to it that the requests we made of our waiters was taken care of with a smile. All three of them treated us with humor and respect. As a result, we were had shrimp cocktails every night, got fish or meats with sauce on the side and I frequently had a baked potato as my entree. When Arnie and Dex would see us at breakfast on the Lido Deck, they always made sure that we were taken care of and again addressed us by our names.
The cabin was very nice. I always sleep on the pull out sofa which sleeps great.. Leo always made sure our cabin was made up without being intrusive.
