Traveled with children

We went on this cruise with family to celebrate a birthday. My kids (13, 11) had never cruised before, and it had been years since we had been. We all loved it! Our cabin, while small, was just fine for the four of us. I used an over the door collapsible shoe organizer to keep everything in, which worked out wonderfully. We were on the Baja Deck, room 702. One bed came down from the ceiling for one of the kids, and the other was a cot. The room did show some wear and tear. Our cabin attendant was wonderful, always friendly and helpful.

I had signed the kids up for the kid's clubs ahead of time, and when we arrived, there was a printed itinerary for each of them with their names on the in the room. They were in separate clubs, my oldest in the teen one, the 11 yo in the tween one. Both had tons of activities, my kids loved it.

We got the unlimited soda package for the kids, and the alcoholic drink one for each of us. The kid one was worth it for sure, something like $8 a day per kiddo for unlimited pop, juice, mocktails, etc. The soda package came with a reusable drink cup and straw, one you take home.
