Cabin: Aqua Class

We took the cruise to fulfill a desire to transit the Panama Canal. Crew was very courteous and attentive to our needs. Our cabin was clean and efficient with a balcony to sit and view what was happening outside. We broke Aqua class and got some nice perks - special dining, access to Persian Garden Spa, and other nice things.

Main Dining Room (Terrace) was too crowded and noisy for our taste. Really enjoyed Blu as a place to eat. Qsine was predictably outstanding - we ate there with a group of 10 and it was a blast. We also ate at Tuscan Grille and it, too, was outstanding.

Entertainment was spotty - some really excellent and other acts just so-so. One of the lecturers was outstanding (Bill Fall). He talked about the many intricacies of the Panama Canal and gave us a much better understanding and insight of the engineering and operation of the Canal. We booked shore excursions separate from this offered by the ship (we used Viator) and found them much better than the ship tours - smaller groups, more time at an attraction, and excellent guides.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Nice cabin but all cabins of this class are essentially the same size. The difference is location on the ship and perks you get.
