Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Penthouse Veranda Stateroom

We sailed on the Viking Sea from March 26 boarding in Piraeus (Athens) Greece and disembarking in Bergen Norway on April 30. Everything about the cruise was perfect. Everyone from the Captain, Officers, wait staff, room attendants, and every other member of the crew on the ship is professional and efficient. The food was outstanding in The Restaurant and in the World Cafe. We dined at Manfredi's twice but did not find the food to be exceptional, and we dined at The Chef's Table once but did not find it to be to our liking.

Our room attendants, Mochammed & Wilford kept our cabin in perfect order with twice daily cleaning and refreshing towels. We always had plenty of soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. The small bottles of liquor were replenished daily along with potato chips and two small candy bars.

The port excusions had excellent guides (perhaps a little too much information at times), but, overall, the guides were great. The buses were clean and comfortable.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Veranda Stateroom

Cabin PV3

The cabin was very nice but not exceptionally large. The veranda was great for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The bathroom floor and mirror are heated which made the bathroom too hot. I asked that the floor heater be turned off and that was done. The bed is very comfortable. The two room stewards (Mochammed and Wilford) were excellent. I loved being able to access the daily menus from the TV in our cabin
