My birthday twin and I were turning 35 and thought we'd try something new. We'd never been on a cruise and hadn't seen each other in many years. We found the Enchantment of the Seas via CheapCruises.com; so it was a budget driven decision. Perhaps, time is a factor, since we decided to do this about 4 months prior. I do recall we visited many other websites but all were focused on cruising for the budget-friendly.

We arrived at the port of Miami about an hour before embarkation and customs were a breeze. We were carrying our own luggage and met our room's service attendant who informed us our room was ready. We deposited our things and went to explore.

In short, the on board experience was flawless. The food, the entertainment, the excursions and the diverse and generous crew. Also, I learned that cruises are a great place to dance, dance, dance!
