First Let me say that we we not huge fans of cruising, but we wanted to travel to multiple cities in Italy and thought this might be a good way to do that. To use the ship as our hotel and transportation. Well it was all that and more. We had a great time and although I would not cruise to the Caribbean again, ( not for us) This is definitely something we will do again. The NCL freestyle is perfect for us, not wanting to have specific times to eat or dis em debark and just to be able to sit together and not with a group. Loved it!

This is a big ship but it was beautiful , clean and had a lot to to and eat!. The shows were excellent, especially the cirque dinner show and the burn the floor. There was entertainment everywhere on the ship and if you didn't like a type of music or entertainment in one bar, then there were many other to choose from.

There are so many great place to dine, we ate at all the included ones and each one was terrific. The only one that was , in our opinion not as good as there others was the pub. It was fine, but we read a lot about it and, maybe because we ate at all the others first, we found this one, just average. but don't get me wrong it was good also. It is also a great pace to hang out, watch the entertainment in the main area and have a snack and a drink. All the sit down ( complimentary) restaurants were terrific, we never had to wait more the 2 min to be seated and the food was served hot and the portions were surprising large..There is something for every taste, so, yes, somethings might not be to your liking, but there was always something we enjoyed. The Buffet was excellent. many choices of food, made it a great way to try new things. Food was always being refreshed and there are plenty of stations so that even during busy times it was never a long line,

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

We loved the curved shape of the rooms, it made it more interesting and fun. we had no issue with the separate showers and toilet, if you ever stayed at a W or hotels in the DR, it is no big deal. Yet, it could be a little bit uncomfortable if you and not comfortable with the person you room with. There was plenty of storage and room. We had a balcony that was a really nice size and provided great views. the only small issue was because the bed was curved to fit the room, it was a bit short. I am 5 10 and my feet tended to hang off the end a bit.
