Embarkation was easy and for the first time we used the self-assist baggage function for debarkation and were pleased with how easily we got off the ship -- we were through customs and in a taxi to the airport by 7:25. The quality of the food has continued to deteriorate but given the amount of the fare, this is to be expected. We found that the casino was abnormally smokey, but this was made worse due to some people coming to the casino strictly to smoke. Would prefer that the whole interior of the ships be made non-smoking for health reasons-passengers and crew members. This was the first time we sailed out of Baltimore during spring break and didn't realize there would be almost 600 kids on the ship, more than 25% of total passengers. We especially felt bad for crew members who had to babysit these kids, monitor them in the hallways where they ran day and night and hid from parents, and clean up after them in the Windjammer.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8055
We have been on Grandeur many times so cabin was what we expected. Our cabin attendant was always there to take care of whatever we needed. We wouldn't book this cabin again since the solarium pool emptied each morning at 12:30 and the pipe created a lot of noise and vibration in the cabin.
