Poor selection and poor presentation of food

I ve cruise with various lines and with NCL before - but I think, if the Norwegian Star was my first cruise ship, I would not cruise again.

The Itinerary was interesting and we enjoyed the ports. Cruise started at Venice, and we visited Katakolon (Olympia), Dubrovnik, Kotor, Athens and Split. We did all excursions without booking an ships excursion.

The cabin (I booked a guarantee, balcony and received an aft-cabin 9238, so I should be happy. In reality the cabin is loud, you are not able to use the balcony - it felt like you sit next to a starting plane) was OK. Some wear and tear as expected.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

A little bit worn, sliding door was broken (could not be secured, only if closed), balcony was very loud.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

Walked through the city, visited some filming locations of "Game of throne"

Kotor

Took the stairs to the hill. Great experience and wonderful view.

Athens (Piraeus)

Visited the new Acropolis museum. Worth a visit!

Split

Nice oldtown, easy accessible.
