Getting on the ship in Port Canaveral was a simple and smooth process. From the time we gave the porters our luggage to the time we were on the ship was under thirty minutes. We enjoyed a very nice lunch in the Italian Restaurant. Everyone else must have eaten lunch on the lido deck as there were only 3 tables of people upstairs with us having Italian Food. The cruise director Dr E. was so much fun as was everyone on his entertainment staff. We had fun with Jackie the Karaoke Host, Kate the Cash Koala the Bingo Host and Angela who hosted a few different activities we attended. The first Elegant Night in the Dining Room was amazing. Our waiter Christian was so wonderful that even know we had anytime dining we requested him every time we ate in the dining room. He remembered all of our names, what we liked to drink and even remembered that I did not want dressing on my salad. We had an Ocean Suite with a nice Balcony. Our Room Steward Norvi was amazing. So pleasant everyday. He took very good care of us. We were so sad to leave the ship because of all the wonderful crew who took such good care of us and made us have one of the best vacations ever. The only bad part was having to get off the ship after only a week. I really could have stayed another week and will consider doing a Back to Back cruise next time.

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

Loved having the extra room of an Ocean Suite as there was 3 of us in the cabin. There was plenty of room for all of our things and we put the empty suitcases under the bed. The bathroom with separate dressing room worked out great when we all wanted to get ready to go to dinner. The jacuzzi bathtub was an added bonus.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Great Pool area with swim up Bar. There is also waitress service for Food and Drinks. Lots of lounge chairs and shade areas to get out of the hot sun. They had entertainment around the pool area. There is also a small shopping area right at the port so no need to take a taxi anywhere if you want to pickup a few things.

Grand Turk

We took a short taxi ride down the beach where it is not so crowded to Jack's Shack. Nice chairs to hang out on to get some sun. Nice sandy beach great for swimming as there are no rocks just nice sand. The Jerk Chicken at Jack's was great. Oh and don't forget to sign up for your Free Shot of Rum on the Jack's Shack website.

San Juan

We did a little walking tour on our own and found a few places off the betten path that were very nice and quiet. Had great Pina Coladas at Barrachina in Old San Juan which is a must if you are in the area. They have the best on the Island.
