We went on a cruise to the Greek islands last week on the P&O ship Oceana. We boarded and disembarked in Valletta, Malta which was really handy as we live in Malta, just twenty minutes away from the port! The ship, though quite old by cruise ship standards, was perfect for us. We had a very comfortable balcony cabin which was more than adequate for our needs and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was excellent at all times and the customer service on board was generally great too, with the notable exception of the staff manning the embarkment and disembarkment desks, who were rude, unfriendly and unhelpful every time we got off and on the ship. P&O please take note and sort this out, it was shockingly bad. But that was the only compaint, everything else was exceptional. We will definitely be booking again and highly recommend others to try it.
