We booked a cruise for three seniors and Carnival gave us a room with a queen bed and a bed that pulls out of the ceiling with a steep ladder to climb up. It was very dangerous for my all of us, especially my sister who is 67 with health problems, so my husband had to sleep in it and he is 64! We were never told this up front and when we tried to change rooms we were told that none were available.

Also on one of the Carnival excursions we were taken to a jewelry store in the Dominican Republic where we were very pressured to buy something. The excursion consisted of a bus ride to a "ranch" where we had to have a police escort through rough sections of town. If we had known this we would not have chosen this excursion. Carnival needs to be more forthcoming with this type of information when trying to sell an excursion.
