We chose this cruise because of the travel itinerary and the fact that it is a smaller ship. Having done a few cruises where the passenger count reached upwards of 3,000, this experience was so much nicer! I never felt like we were cattle being herded around. We got to know a number of couples because we found ourselves on the same transfer/excursion vehicle (planes trains and automobiles) or dined in the same spots at the same time, or just ran into them on board at random times. Lots of different excursions to choose from, all spectacular. Our guides were all very well informed, spoke English very well and clearly, and took good care of us at all times. On board ship, the food was superior at every dining level. We didn't go out for extra entertainment on board because we were exhausted from having so much fun on shore excursions all the time. I would absolutely go again. We want to do a river cruise next.

The only criticism has to do with a before-cruise add-on that we chose, flying into and out of Reykjavik, Iceland. Both times at the Iceland airport, the tower crew were on strike, so our flights were messed up, delayed and so on. Also, the airport itself doesn't seem to think passengers waiting need to sit down. Only a handful of chairs at each gate, and most of the people waiting on our flights had to stand or sit on the floor. Not good at all. Having said that, our time in Iceland was fun and interesting and very comfortable overall.
