You're always a bit nervous the first time you do something and I was apprehensive as we embarked on our first cruise of any sort. But I needn't have worried - what an amazing experience. Quite possibly the best holiday I have ever had!

The ship was brilliantly maintained, everything was spotless - the staff were always doing something - if not cleaning your room, they were cleaning the stairs or the communal areas - but they were never in the way, and often went unnoticed. From the captain to the cleaners everyone one of them was very polite, friendly, efficient and amazingly helpful.

The cabin was small but extremely comfortable. We were in the standard class - the lowest priced accommodation - but there was a very comfortable king-sized bed, the shower was lovely and the shower gels, shampoos, etc, were continually replenished.
