We usually travel on Princess cruises but we booked this cruise as friends of ours were already booked on it. The embarkation went very smoothly which is the only good point of this ship. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and a few cans of Coke Cola which they charged £1.50 for the water this having paid £7000 for the suite. On most cruise ships there is a lot of complaining about one thing or another but I have NEVER been on a cruise ship where the whole conversation was about the appalling food served in the dinning room. Needless to say we used the speciality restaurants quite a lot to avoid eating in the main dining room. The staff were as usual excellent friendly and helpful, we had a butler who's sole job was to bring us canapés at 5 every evening. At least P&O have copied one good thing from Princess in that Suite passengers had a private dining room for breakfast. Would I travel on this ship ever again NEVER.

This is one ship you should avoid

Cabin Review

Suite with Balcony
Cabin AD D737
The first night the toilet wouldn't flush once it was repaired we came up from dinner to find the bathroom & toilet area flooded, the following morning we woke to find the suite under several inches of water the carpets were saturated. They came up and vacuumed most of the water up and lifted the carpets and installed 3 large fans which we endured for 3 days. We had no hot water until Tuesday of the second week and the toilet area had this awful smell for well over the first week (as did several other cabins on our corridor) their only solution was to use my wifes deodorant spray to neutralise it.
