We just returned from a 14 night Western Mediterranean cuise. This was our tenth cruise but our first time on NCL.

We flew from Ottawa, Canada and arrived in London on the Sunday morning at about 6:30 a.m. My husband had booked a coach shuttle to Southampton with National Express. It is easy to find as it is connected to the airport and it is much less expensive than the transfers offered by NCL. The buses were on time and comfortable. In Southhampton it does not drop you off right at te port. If you have a lot of luggage you can take a taxi for 5 euros or you can walk it in about 15 minutes.

Embarkation went smoothly. Once onboard we went to the garden Cafe for lunch and then down to our rooms. Our luggage arrived promptly and we unpacked and went on deck to see us leave Southhampton after the fire drill.
