This is the first time we (family of four with two kids ages 9 and 12) have sailed on Norwegian, I have sailed on Carnival as well as Disney. The boarding was fine from the time we arrived and we went on board. We noticed the ship was very clean and hand washing stations throughout. We went to our room and was also very clean but was somewhat smaller than other ships with the Balcony. The food was average to good with really no complaints overall could have served more cheese cake. For us we like to have fun with the waiting staff and get used to siting with the same people. The waiting staff on this ship were not overly accommodating nor would any interact with you. They all seemed so distant and not be concerned about talking to us or others. A couple times we asked for a couple appetizers and they seemed as if this was an issue not very polite at times. However as mentioned the food was ok, not like on Disney where they have the food figured out as well as the waiting staff.
The party life on the ship was dull and the layout was boxy and confusing there was no flow. The main pool area was small and no room at times with the amount of people on board. Not a ship for people who like to have fun at the pool.
We choose this ship for all the fun activities for the kids but the line ups for the featured activities such as rock wall and ropes course was always long and they only opened it up at certain times which was unfair to the kids to just go and stare at these things and could not use them.
Room was smaller than other ships but very clean Teddie did a good job, could have made more towel animals for the kids only 2 out of 7 days.
Missed port due to lightning storm could not dock very disappointed!
