Sail Date: Apr 2017

I had been on the Serenade in December in one of their solo cabins to the Caribbean. Decided to plan another cruise same ship so I could get one of the solo cabins again which I could. The cabins are surprisingly spacious. They have a twin bed but the bathroom is the same size as in other inside cabins. Lots of storage space. The solo cabins are conveniently located on same floor as dining room, right around the corner. There was never excess noise.

I bought the ultimate beverage package before sailing. I like to drink on my cruises and always come out ahead with the package. All the bars were quick to serve, poured good drinks, and friendly. Right away bartenders learned what you drink what time of day and your name. I did not tip them extra until the end of the cruise when I handed them a cash tip.

I stayed in a Best Western with no car. It was dreary and not good way to start a vacation. Good thing was well-run and organized shuttle to and from airport and the ship port Everglades.

Cabin Review

Solo cabin. Twin bed. Very comfortable room and bath. Inside cabin. I just leave the TV on and feel like I have a porthole.
