We had a great time on the elation. This was our fourth cruise. We went with four other couples two of which were first time cruisers. They thoroughly enojoyed their time on the ship. The ship is a little dated, I would compare it to the old style vegas look. Staff was friendly and room steward was great (Harold). We stayed in an interior stateroom for this cruise and I was surprised that it was quite roomy compared to the interior cabin we stayed in on a Royal Caribbean ship. The bathroom looked like it was recently updated with great water pressure. The food was pretty good, nothing to write home about but not bad. Embarkation and debarkation was a breeze at the Jacksonville terminal. We parked across the street from the terminal ( the parking mall, I think) and we were swiftly shuttled to the terminal. It was half the price of terminal parking.

As always, a cruise vacation is what you make of it and if your willing you can certainly have a great time in this ship. Below is a link to a YouTube video we made of our cruise:
