I always thought Royal Caribbean ships looked cool and would be a lot of fun. Not the case at all. I'm 56 and my fiancée 44. The age of most of the people on board looked like much older than ourselves. We joked that it looked like a floating retirement home. Food choices that are included in the ticket price other than the dinner at night were marginal at best. Lots of other restaraunts on board if you pay for the upgrades and they are not cheap. They offer a drink package $72.00 a day I think was the price. But they have very few waiters so you have to go to the overcrowded bars and stand in line. Banging pipes at night always around 2 am could never be found. It kind of just became a joke towards the last few days. I came down with a cold and went to buy some NyQuil. This big ship had one little counter that had a few toiletries and a few over the counter drugs. I bought the NyQuil and paid $17.00. I later went back the last day for toothpaste which cost $7.00. Do yourself a favor and don't get sucked into the idea that this huge ship is going to be a floating paradise cause it's not.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Small. Clean. AC worked off and on. Complained about it but never resolved. Noisy at night. Banging on pipes around 2am and screaming child next door.
