This is a review of the 7 Day Eastern Caribbean April 9 - 16 2017 cruise that my Partner and I just returned from. This is our 4th trip on an S-Class Ship and our 15th cruise on Celebrity. This is also our 35th and 34th cruise respectively. Silhouette is a lovely ship and is a work of art from an aesthetic viewpoint, though as you read my review, you will see that it is not the most practical ship for passengers.

We drove to the Port Everglades and parked at Park’nGo. They are just outside the port and charge a lot less than the garage inside the port and even gave an additional discount, if you pay in advance. I suggest booking ahead of time.

We arrived at the ship at 12:30PM to check our luggage and the bags were immediately taken by the wonderful Porters at Port Everglades (in contrast to Port of Miami). We were on the ship within 30 minutes. We went through the embarkation process quite swiftly. We were met with Champagne and Mimosas upon entering the ship. The ship is very sleek and elegant.
