I have only cruised RCCL before, so I dont really have a comparison to other lines. This ship is large, but not enormous. Getting on the ship took us 15 minutes. Seriously. We got there at 11am and walked right up. Getting off the ship, carrying your own luggage and getting off early is the only way to go, we were off and on our way home quickly too. Our balcony cabin was on the newly added deck above the solarium and next to the spa and all upgraded amenities in our room. Very quiet, and lovely! Tons of space to put away everything so all of that advice of extra things to bring for organization are not needed. Our cabin steward, Erick has been with Royal Caribbean for 20 years and was amazing. Could not asked for better service. It was just my husband and myself on a romantic getaway so this floor was PERFECT for us. Quiet, away from all the noise of the pools, activities, etc. There was a small bar just a few steps from our room, and it was never crowded, The adult only hot tubs were right there too. It was closer to go back to our room for the restroom than the solarium restroom! Perfect!! The solarium waitstaff was fun, and attentive. We never made it out to the other pool other than walking through it. Lots of cigarette smoke which i would love if they would move that to the upper deck, not enclosed where you have to walk through it. There is wonderful sangria in the promenade restaurant Sorrentos, included in most of your bev packages!

Meals in the buffet are what you would expect. Most of the time we ordered breakfast in our room and ate on the balcony. it was a beautiful way to wake up! The dining room food was good, nothing amazing, but good.

Watching movies around the pool while stargazing is a great experience.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

One of the best cabins on a cruise i have been in...only one that topped it was being on the stern over the wake of the ship. That was amazing!
