We chose the cruise because of the itinerary to Central America. The boarding process was smooth and took approximately 25 minutes and our bags arrived within 30 minutes after we boarded. Disembarkation was outstanding. We self carried bags and were off and through customs in 15 minutes.

The Rhapsody of the Seas is an older ship. The stateroom was the size of a postage stamp, especially since we were traveling with our children ages 10 & 15. The room was clean and in good repair; however we were on the Norwegian Epic a year ago and the availability of plugs and space was much better. I will note we had a family suite on Norwegian and requested the same with our travel agent who booked this cruise too but did not receive it.

Having read other reviews prior to this cruise, I brought shampoo and conditioner since there is only a wash gel in the shower. I also brought an extension cord which was needed.
