We chose Royal Caribbean for our first cruise as a couple because we liked that the ship was so large and offered a diverse array of entertainment and dining opportunities. Embarkation and disembarkation were exceptionally simple and expedient in Port Everglades. The ship is overwhelming at first due to its large size and plethora of places to visit on board. Our cabin was lovely and we enjoyed the welcoming hospitality of our room steward (shout out to Javier!) We initially were signed up for My Time Dining, which was held in the American Icon restaurant. We tried one evening in The Grande restaurant and also went to Chops Steakhouse for one evening. The food was exceptional. The Windjammer Cafe was a great buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was a much more casual dining atmosphere, which was nice occasionally. Mama Mia was a hilarious musical and Blue Ocean is a beautiful performance on board. Overall the service was excellent. We visited Nassau, St Thomas, and St Maarten. We enjoyed all three ports. We went deep sea fishing in St Thomas on a shore excursion and we had a great time fishing (shout out to Captain Jack!) In St Maarten we went snorkeling and saw a variety of fish including several large barracuda and a cute cowfish. We loved the cruise so much, we are going again in August 2017!

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

Javier was amazing as our room steward. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy at all times during our vacation. Our room was wonderful and a perfect size for two people. There were a variety of television shows and movies to watch when we were in our room. Room service was fast and tasted wonderful.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Port Everglades was a nice embarkation and disembarkation port. We had no issues here.

Nassau

Fun island experience. Shopping was fun and sightseeing was enjoyable.
