Traveled with children

Family of six. Four teenagers. First cruise. Was worried after reading previous reviews. We all had a great time. Lovely restaurants, bars and public areas. Cabins bigger than expected and well kept by excellent crew. We attended shows, movies, trivias, guest speakers and even craft activities. Children did two activities each a day with the Edge. No problems booking restaurants or activities. This was a casual, family cruise with 300 children aboard due to Easter holidays. Great atmosphere and mix of passengers. It is a 25 year old ship which is looking a little tired in some areas. This does not impact on the cruise. The children did not want to get off the ship when it docked on the islands as they were enjoying the ship so much. We did DIY tour on Lombok and Bali and cruise tour on Komodo. Would do this cruise on this ship again but would not bother with going ashore.
