Chose the cruise for the itinery. The staff was very friendly. The ship is old and neeeds a refurbishing. We liked the different entertainment around the ship. The singers and dancers were really terrific esppecially their last show about Broadway. As frequent travelers on Holland America we are not used to extra dining venues and things like a smoothie bar by the pool. The pool areas were great. The deck area that goes around the lower deck was worthless. You could not walk around it without construction and stairs being there. The library on this ship is a joke. Try going onto a Holland America ship and seeing a real library. I guess they want us to do other things than read and relax.

The computer room was nice. The breakfast buffet and lunch needs more seating.

How dare Celebrity change the price on the drink package the day we start the cruise and expect us to pay additional on top of what was paid in advance. Greed is not good.

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

Cabin 2B

The cabin was OK. Celebrity needs to provide real hangers for clothes not the type they had.TV was in a bad position for viewing. Bed was a little soft, bad for our backs.

Port Reviews

Hong Kong

Nice port.

Taipei (Keelung)

This tour was done with other Cruise Critic members. It was really good. We did a temple, market, geological formation park and best of all a town that releases small kerosene paper balloons,
