One our first cruise, we wanted to sail out of New Orleans and wanted upscale. I was told that meant NCL. Wrong! Wonderful room steward Gemil. Great servers especially Norbell by the pool. But the room had its own disco under us that started at bedtime and lasted most of the night. They wouldn't swap rooms with us, said nothing was available, which was a lie. Friends we met on board won an upgrade and their old room was available. Easier for the officers on board just to lie to us that make a customer happy. I was promised a good room but that was a lie.

Cozumel was a rip off by the town's people but all the other ports of call were fantastic. I especially loved riding the ATVs on Friday and the Island with rescue animals on Wednesdays. The Mayan ruins and spice farm allowed you to see the real Belize and was necessary to get off the company 'Disneyland' version. It was money well spent.

The quality of food was very inconsistent. Restrooms were usually dirty, especially in the more public areas.

Noise through the floors at night from the disco below us was horrible. It was very easy to hear normal conversations through the walls from the room next door.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

Came in town two days early to enjoy the Quarter.

Cozumel

Locals were high pressure and after the bucks

Loved the Island of rescue animals!
