We chose this cruise for the itinerary, we did a lot of research before the cruise & did all of our shore excursions privately, some with other Cruise Critic members & one just the 2 of us with a driver & guide. Ships shore excursions too expensive & do not like being herded around with a large group prefer to keep to a small group or on our own. We booked all of our holiday with Iglu Cruise & found them to be very good, starting off with 4 nights in Dubai onto extra 2 night in Singapore & after the cruise extra time in Hong Kong, all our flights were with Emirates they were excellent. We were very worried having read some reviews about the ship but I can honestly say the ship was very good, yes it is an older ship but our cabin was very good (Concierge class) there is a small amount of rust around but really nothing to worry us. our cabin Steward Tim was very good & we found all the staff fantastic friendly & nice. The food in the Metropolitan Restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice always hot & service very good. Our favourite bar was the Rendezvous Bar with Eliah who was the best waiter & barman ever. The entertainment was okay, didn't see very many of the shows in the theatre as they were not to our taste, but the music groups in the other bars were very good. Our main moans are the Ocean Cafe, could never find a seat at breakfast, we decided to use the Metropolitan Restaurant for breakfast much better. The biggest moan is the price of the drinks packages, an absolutely ridiculous price working out at around £750 per person, the drinks are very expensive but £1500 for 2 people for 14 days, !!!!!! & the price of internet once again 40 dollars for one day. We enjoyed our cruise but come on Celebrity be realistic about your prices.
