Carnival Legend cruise. Sydney to Honolulu-1-19th April. Ship areas need updating. Garishly decorated. Family oriented Very casual. People in shorts and t-shirts at night time dining. Dress code not enforced. Kids’ club. Free ice-creams- yoghurt. Free chilled water 24 hours in Legends Bar deck 2 and opposite the adults’ pool area on Deck 9. Usual activities- trivias, casino, hula and cake decorating demos, jewellery/watch sales etc. Music trivias were the best with Jen. Staff monitor your alcohol consumption & will not serve people another drink once they’ve had 8, except on the 2 cocktail nights where people went crazy lining up as many drinks a possible.

Hygiene: Hand sanitisers NOT in prominent positions & no staff reminding passengers to use them. Some not working.

600 Kids on ship. Some going up & down constantly at night in the central lifts or running up and down the corridors at all hours. Teenage boys running amok. Should have had a fit PE guy running an intense physically challenging program for them. The group leader not physically up to challenging them. Ok for the little kids. Read more
