We took this cruise with my family to celebrate college and high school graduations. The ship has just returned from dry dock with modest improvements. The NCL Jade is a medium size ship by today's standards. I enjoyed this sized ship rather than the larger cruise ships I had been on. The main atrium is well appointed and comfortable.

The food in the buffet had a plentiful variety to choose from. The "Free Style" dining was a nice option but be sure to make reservations at the restaurant during peak times otherwise you could be waiting for a long period of time. The meal service was pleasant and the food was good. We did eat an the "Moderno Churracaria" Restaurant for my Husband's birthday which was really good and well worth the additional fee.. We realty enjoyed the O'Sheen's Pub. The pub was open 24 hours offering generous hambugers, salads, and sandwhiches

We had 4 cabins total in our family - 2 Mini Suites which were spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms had a full tub and separate toilet. Our main complaint was that they were below the kitchens and would hear rolling carts throughout the night. The Graduates shared a Balcony stateroom which had plenty of storage but found it to be a little tight. The vanity was small. The final room was an inside cabin which suited two adults but a tight fit.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

The Cabin is spacious and plenty of storage. The bathroom has a full size tub and divider for toilet privacy. The bed is comfortable. The location is nice since is just a deck below the pool and buffet. BUT, you are below the kitchen! At night you will hear the noise of rolling carts! We complained twice to both the kitchen staff and the head person and no attempts were maide to resolve the issue.

Harvest Caye

Do not waste your time on the estuary wildlife tour. The boat was hazardoulsy overloaded with guest. The tour guide was laxed and very little wildlife was found which I do understand it is out of thier control. The whole situation felt like a complete and total rip off expecially since they could not find a seat for my husband so they placed him next to the boats motor exahaust!!! Yuk!!
