Having travelled with Silversea on numerous occasions we had high expectations from this Brand New 6 Star Luxury Cruise Liner. But the reality was Guests were used as 'Guinea Pigs' and treated with disrespect.

We were never made aware that the policy in relation to Dinner Reservations was different to other Silversea Ships, all restaurants had to be booked well in advance or reservations recommended. The Dress Attire was dictated by the restaurant, truly a bizarre set up! This policy contradicted the information outlined within 'Travel Journal' which stated that the Main Restraurant is always open seating'

We were placed on a 'Wait List' (5 / 8 Nights) awaiting a call from the 'Restaurant Manager' to confirm if or when you could eat, totally outrageous! . Several times we had to have our main evening meal in our room. Sometimes you got a telephone call just 20 mins before a slot in any restaurant was allocated, so it was very hard to plan/adhere to the require dress code. (Totally flawed system). Read more
