We liked the itinerary and our neighbours recommended Emerald. We were very pleased to overnight in Amsterdam and so close to the sights. We were disappointed that on 2 occasions we had to wait for the ship to arrive. (Over one and a half hours on the last day). This meant that lunch was late but dinners was still at the same. As this was our last day, and luggage had to be outside early the next morning, we didn't have any time to relax .

We would have liked some of the tours to be more adventurous and energetic and that we had to take coach tours to the towns. We were delighted with all the ship's crew who were polite, friendly and very efficient.

As an overall experience we were very pleased and would love to try different routes and rivers but would probably choose cruises where we could get to the sight seeing more easily and on our own.
