We chose this cruise because it went to Skagway and we could take an Excursion on a Narrow Gage railway up into the Yukon.. It was so much fun and the day was bright, sunny,& warm! We got to see sled dogs&pet their puppies. We had a BBQ lunch at Carcross, Yukon, which was far better than we expected.. The very best donuts on the planet!!! WE ATE TOO MANY!!... The excursion was great and we highly recommend it We took a bus up and returned by the train . The ship is smaller which enables you to get closer to the shore line & all the Glaciers You will have a better chance of clear skies in July, however, you really never know with the Pacific N.W.!!! Juneau was the Mendenhal Glacier which was very interesting but not close enough. We really enjoyed the shopping & walking in Ketchikan. Our friends wanted Authentic Native art & we found a lot there for various prices in various shops... The service was excellent & the Glacier martini's (blue in color) were fun & tasty!! We enjoyed sitting on the Promenade deck all bundled in our lovely blue plaid blankets found in every stateroom.. Napping was fun along with reading!! We enjoyed our cruise & highly recommend it to everyone..

Sunshine, whales, glaciers, & a railway trip to the Yukon all on one cruise!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Cabin VF 8155
Cabin was very nicely appointed and everything worked... We could have had a few more drawers but that is always the case...The attendants were very attentive and friendly.. we had everything we needed...Thank you!!
The cabin was below the galley so the first night was a bit noisy during the night but after reporting it , it was okay. I also bought earplugs that helped.. We would do it again.. Very Interesting scenery and loved the Glaciers!!
