Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

After my Celebrity Summit cruise was cancelled with 2 weeks notice, we (husband and I, traveling together) scrambled to find a replacement cruise during the same time frame, which was my spring break from teaching.

I have been on most of the other cruise lines several times and this was my opportunity to try something new. I am glad we did and I am considering an NCL cruise in Europe this summer.

I was happily surprised that embarkation went very smoothly. At about noon, we were the last 'group' called to board the ship. After our number, I think passengers just walked on the ship as they arrived.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

They are small, but fine for 2 people. Did not care for the non-reclining balcony chair or the tiny table. The bathroom was nice and the shower was large. Plenty of storage in the bathroom. I liked the decor. There were no knobs on the cabinetry to break off. Genius! The walls are probably THIN! Heard man next door snoring loudly every morning, but heard nothing from the cabin on the other side. Cabin was below the spa/fitness spaces, but not many noises coming from up above.

Port Reviews

Tortola

Booked a snorkel/sail trip to the Norman Islands independently. It was the highlight of our cruise. A very short walk from the ship to the marina where we boarded the catamaran.
