We chose this cruise because we had sailed with NCL in the past and truly enjoyed it and we wanted to go to the Panama Canal, this particular itinerary was very appealing and it did not disappoint. The Pearl is our new favorite ship, loved sailing on her! The crew was awesome in every way. Our cabin steward was always happy, remembered our first names, and whenever we saw him which was several times a day, he was very pleasant and accommodating. He was just the best. Our cabin 8622 oceanview picture window, was always spotless, very comfortable including the bed, bathroom setup was nice and the water pressure was amazing! Plenty of storage space, quiet and pretty handy on deck 8 - O'Sheehan's was just a short walk away. We enjoyed many of the dining venues, had great meals and service at all the we visited, including the Garden Café. Our favorites were the Summer Palace and Cagney's, least fav was Moderno, and that does not reflect the service and staff as they were all wonderful, just a food preference. Entertainment was good. Super enjoyed the live vibes poolside every afternoon and the entertainment in the Atrium as well as the Magnum's bar area on deck 6. The kindness and service was always top notch, everywhere. Truly appreciate NCL effort to keep germs to a minimum with the "washy washy" happy happy hand sanitizing crew at the entrance to all dining venues and everytime you re-board the ship after a shore excursion at the ports. Kudos to NCL!

Ports - Cartagena was very interesting. We did the Hop-on-hope-off bus tour with the guided walking tour at the end. Good tour, great guide.

We did not get off the ship in the Panama Canal at Gatun Lake. That was it's own excursion all on it's own. We did get off the ship for a little while at Colon' to tour the shops and stuff at the pier.
