This was my first NCL cruise. I booked it because of the unique itinerary, the reasonable price, and my niece likes NCL. I was blown away by the care and thoughtfulness NCL obviously puts into their cruises. The shore excursions were an excellent supplement to this unusual itinerary. One thing that impressed me was that the crew seemed genuinely happy to be serving and doing their jobs. They struck me as people who were being treated right, and who had been placed in appropriate jobs. Embarkation and disembarkation was easy and smooth. I had a very late flight out of Venice, and the front desk person offered to switch my transfer to one that was much later. Huge help. The food was adequate for me. If you are someone who enjoys high end foods and variety, you will need to go to the specialty restaurants. For me it was perfect because I could always find fresh fruits, vegetables, etc. Thanks NCL for producing such a great product. I am looking forward to my next cruise with you.
