Pros: the food as good, at all locations. We went to the buffet a lot because there are so many options for the kids, and all the food we tried tasted good and the variety was great. No wow factor, but food was abundant. The specialty dinner for the Brazilian restaurant was amazing, but extremely difficult to book a time. The Japanese hibachi was not great, the food tasted salty and there was not much of showmanship.

Cons: pay, pay, pay. This trip is not all-inclusive. Any fun activity is extra. You can feel the pressure to get the extra cash out of the travelers. The Captain even announced sales over the intercom, and the Indonesian crew won't let you take 2 steps before they try to sell you something. Bingo? cheapest package is $39 for 3 games. Bowling? scan your card so we can charge you. If felt like we were cruising around in the Pacific with an Indonesian ship, instead of Norwegian.

We went Easter week and the boat was packed, the few free attractions got booked up early. If you didn't stand in line for 1 hour prior, you're out of luck. For around $5k per state room, I don't think we'll be cruising again. The kids club has a maximum number, and once they reach that number, no kids are accepted. And the kids club closes twice a day, so between 12 and 2, don't make plans for a quiet lunch.
