Traveled with children

This was a 3rd cruise for me and my husband. This time we traveled with 3 adults and 2 children. This was a first cruise for 4 of the 5 traveling with us. We had a great time. Some did not expect to see so many children onboard the ship. There were 800 children onboard. However, the staff did a good job of keeping them entertained. And, there are areas on the ship were the adults can go for peace and quiet. That was one reason we booked a balcony room. It is quiet in your own room on the balcony.

Dinner was great and we had the best wait staff. However, we were unable to sit together at dinner time. Half of us were at the early seating and the other half were at the late seating. That was a bummer. We had two folks assigned at our dinner table who did not want the early seating so they decided not to eat in the dinning room at all. That was disappointing because my family could have joined us had we known the couple was going to miss 6 of the 7 nights.

Danny (Cruise Director) and Matt (Assistant Cruise Director) did a fantastic job. They worked hard to keep everyone entertained. They had so many activities onboard that the guest could not get bored. Carnival is most definitely a party cruise line. So, if you are looking to party all the time choose Carnival.

Enjoyed the balcony and the location of the room. We were near the elevator and the steps. The room was clean and the cabin steward was very friendly. We found the towel animals very entertaining especially the monkey hanging from the ceiling.
