We chose it because one of my (adult) daughters saw it was going to East Caribbean on the week we were all available. My husband booked it right away and we were very happy we were going to be able to vacation all together. There were 10 of us. I found the food in the lido restaurant to be way below average compared to former Carnival cruises. I didn't feel the variety was there. This is the only ship I have been on that had cheesecake in Lido ONE time only for lunch. There was gravy for breakfast, but it had ONIONS in it! Most of the lunch food had onions also. It was tough to eat there.

We were never in the water on the ship. It was full of wild kids all the time. Even the hot tubs were full of kids. I feel these kids should not be in the hot tubs at all. The pool on serenity deck was always full too, adults of course.

The hallways of this ship were narrow, and overall, just felt too small for us.

Cabin 4J

We booked 5 cabins on this ship for us and family. We usually book Lido, balcony, but we booked on deck 3 to be with family and give them more economical cabins. We were and are VERY disappointed with these cabins.. NO one informed us that the lounge ( right over us) was turned into a nightclub after the last show. Our family was awakened every morning by the sound of dragging chairs in the lounge above us. I am guessing staff was putting them back in place from the night before. Every night but one, our family was unable to sleep because the music was so loud it literally jarred the walls in the cabins where the beds were. Some of us did inform guest services, but WE feel very badly that our family got such bad cabins, and WE booked them! It was to be a very special cruise because it was the FIRST time all of our schedules worked together. I have NEVER seen movable chairs in the theater, and I have NEVER known of it being turned into a nightclub late at night. One thing I know, we will never be be on this ship again. We will seriously have to consider using Carnival in the future, even though this has been our favorite cruise line in the past. Very unhappy with this ship in general.
