We decided two years ago to book our first back 2 back cruise in the Harmony of the Seas which was still under construction at that time. We booked Grand Suite 14260 for ourselves and the closest interior stateroom 14271 for our two adult children. We flew out of Newark Liberty Airport on March 31st (day before) and stayed at the Clarion Hotel about 15 minutes from both the airport and cruise port. The Clarion was perfect for our overnight. It was very clean and easy walking distance to several places to eat lunch and dinner.

We hired Dynasty Transportation (Jose) for our travel needs. Jose picked us up the next day and we arrived at the Harmony just before they started to board. After checking-in, we waiting about 20 minutes in the area of the cruise port reserved for suite guests. Just before 11 am, the announcement came for us to board. We were the first people to board the ship and our fantastic vacation was fully underway.

Tha Harmony of the Seas is a massive cruise ship with so much to do you might never leave the ship for two weeks. My wife and I decided to make this cruise our first back 2 back cruise because we heard that one week wasn't enough time from our friends who sailed on the Oasis and Allure. The Harmony is slightly larger but the same basic design.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

The Grand Suite was a perfect stateroom for a two week cruise. It was decorated very well with more than enough storage space. It had two flat screen TVs and the balcony provided a wonderful place to view sunrises, sunsets and beautiful sea days. The bathroom has two sinks along with a tub/shower.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Nice port with a nice facility.

Nassau

Arrive on Sunday. Short visit with some shops closed.

St. Maarten

The best shopping by the dock in the Caribbean.

Cozumel

Brand new outdoor mall right at cruise port.

Labadee

A great beach experience on a beautiful location.

Falmouth

A very nice set-up at the dock with many stores and shops. Prices seem to be higher than on other islands.
