It was my birthday present from my husband so we chose a week long Meditteranean cruise! Brilliant from start to finish. The food was amazing, our cabin steward (John) was extremely efficient, and our waiter (Vincent Madavana) was excellent! We found all the staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Could have stayed aboard when the cruise finished and done it all over again!!! We could not have found fault with anything, although we would have liked to have at least one bar where there was no dancing just music playing, as each bar there was there seemed to be dancing all the time (either ballroom or latin (not good if you don't know the dances, or don't want to dance, just to relax. All in all, really enjoyed the surroundings, the Jacuzzi and pool were also great to use, really did not want to come home. We boarded ship in Marseille where we stayed overnight at the Hotel Hermes which is a very good hotel in the old port, this is a lovely place in itself to visit, the rest of our visits included Barcelona, Valencia; Cagliari, Civitavecchia, and Savone; all of which were marvellous, the highlight of our trip being Rome! Will definitely go on another cruise!
