We chose this cruise for our 1st Anniversary. The cruise fit the dates and the port we wanted of Key West. So Key West is the reason we went on this ship. Embarking was great, no problems. Stateroom was good, attendant good. Loved the games that were played, and the comedy shows. We had three and all three were absolutely amazing! The Bad: POOL: Couldn't get in the hot tubs, too crowded from open-close. PHOTOS:We ordered the $200 picture package. Last year same package, but this year we DID NOT get the CD or COPYRIGHT. Same price. They said they weren't a digital ship... a little disappointed there. SERVICE: We had issues with Next Cruise not answering some of our questions and the ones they did, we were told by Guests Services and the Loyalty Ambassador that it was incorrect information. A couple times, we had something and Guest Services couldn't get on the same page, we were told to go to the Casino for a prize and they said go to Guest Services, another time Guest Services told us to see Next Cruise, Next Cruise sent us to Loyalty Ambassador, it just seemed they didn't know and one doesn't ever talk to the other. FOOD: Lastly, the most disappointing ever! First reason was the food was just not what we expected. Ate at the Windjammer all breakfast and lunch and MDR for Dinners. Cafeteria food in the Windjammer, barely warm, it just wasn't good. MDR where we expected gourmet food like we did on the IOS. No, choices were poor, presentation poor, poor taste, options were very limited. Left hungry.... Second food complaint, is there is only one place cafe Park where you can get food from 9P-2A. I got a salad- boxed one night because the MDR left me hungry and I didn't see anything special in that place. Pre-pkged egg sandwich like at -11. Food was down right terrible. Options didn't exists.

Great Comedy Shows, The Rest was Unimpressive

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Horseback Riding
Carlos our tour guide was nice. IT cost $200. Great little ranch, a little trail ride was about it. Weren't able to ride, ride like we had hoped. Had quite a few people who had never ridden before. We would have like to see more and been able to speed it up some.

Thought it was kind of expensive, $25. Nice tour guide, he loved Key West. We got to see around. It wasn't bad, wasn't great, nice way to see the island.
