Adventure of the Sea. Taken from out sea in St. Lucia

I have cruised Carnival and I hear RC is a step above and not so much the "party ship" that Carnival can be. This was geared more to an evened-out age group all around. It was enjoyable, the staff was attentive, food was pretty good. The ship was in need of some updating. Rooms were dated (we had a balcony room) and some of the hall ways wreaked of dampness as there were, apparently, plumbing leaks in some rooms. We especially loved our dinner crew and the shows were pretty decent.

We have booked another cruise for this coming Fall 2017 with some friends. The ship had some updating so we will see what changes they have made. I do recommend that you seek private excursions as they are a bit less and you can often get more for your money.

We love cruising and plan one at least once every year.
