We chose this cruise because friends had been onboard and really loved the ship. We have been on another similar line for many years and wanted a change. The ship was very clean, nice, had a lot of activities with the cruise staff and had awesome service. We loved the Piazza. The cabin stewards were great. Spoke to a number of passengers who absolutely raved about theirs as well. We had an interior cabin, which we have only done 1 other time in 30 cruises. It was well designed, with ample storage. Plenty of movies in the cabin, if you chose to watch, unlike the other line! While the 1st 2 days in the anytime dining were a bit rocky, after speaking to Jozsef, the head waiter, we were placed with Jesus and Joemarie each night. The were the bomb. You must hear Jesus sing with his guitar! While we really enjoyed the entertainment and activities and found the cruise directors staff to be very engaging, we felt the production shows could use some tweaks to bring them up to par with similar cruise lines. This was a very common comment we overheard and discussed with others throughout the cruise.

We had purchased the beverage package and found the staff to be very timely and friendly at all of the venues we frequented. Stanley, who worked the main pool during the day, Mar, Artha, and Jerry, and Bojan at Vines were always super friendly and nice.

The ports were as expected. We were extremely disappointed in the Grenada snorkel excursion, which is run byCarib tours. There were two times for the same price. The same company picked up the 1st group of people right next to the ship on the dock. They were on a brand new catamaran and left in a timely fashion. After waiting 15 minutes past our start time in the hot sun, we were informed we had to walk to the other catamaran on a "5" minute walk. It was more like 12 to 15 minutes along dangerous roads and thru a tunnel with vehicle traffic and no sidewalk. We were then about 30 minutes behind schedule. We were told we had to wait for 2 people who didn't want to walk. About 7 or 8 minutes later, the young woman who had been in charge on the pier was dropped of in a vehicle and we proceeded with the tour. We passed the other catamaran and the other crew tossed the snorkel equipment, including snorkels in a ripped trash bag, to our crew! It was all about sharing equipment that put us behind schedule. After snorkeling by the statues, we were well behind schedule. When we asked the Captain if we would be dropped at the Pier like the other tour he was very belligerent toward us. Other passengers asked while at the beach what had occurred, as they had witnessed his unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this tour operator to anyone. We brought up our experience to the excursions desk and felt they really did not respond adaquately. Don't go to Love Beach in Bahamas.
