We picked this cruise due to it's low price and Germany destination. The Captain went out of his way to provide great service. The complementary Champagne and end of cruise parties had plenty of waiters and drinks, something not always found on Princess ships. The food was exceptional though I wish Princess would reduce the amount of salt in food, especially their soups. Our waiters Archie, Samual, and Sergy provided great service and recommendations. MaitreD Evan always got us a superb table. Room steward Denmark was the best we have had on five Princess cruises.

The weather for crossing the Atlantic and North Sea was calm. My wife who is prone to sea sickness made it across without any medication.

The Princess shore excursions tend to be expensive and do not meet expectations of what should be seen. Our $199 per person Normandy Beaches tour spent 3 hours 40 minutes at a small museum, having lunch and shopping for post cards and souvenirs. We were allowed 10 minutes at Omaha beach! Probably better to explore on your own or plan an extended stay after you reach your destination.
