This was our first cruise as a newly married couple. We chose this cruise line over its competition because of its excellent reviews. The service was exemplary, the food was impressive in quality, quantity and diversity. The ship was beautiful and stately and there was always plentiful entertainment options throughout the day. In particular we enjoyed the main stage performances and the string quartet. Our favourite spots on the ship were the eagle's nest library and lounge in the evenings and strolling along the promenade during the day. The excursions were very well organized and extremely enjoyable. It was our first time snorkeling and this proved to be a highlight of the week. There were lots of great options and it was difficult deciding which to choose. It was a great experience all around and we look forward to our next cruise aboard Holland America.
