We chose this cruise because our son and daughter in law had already planned and asked us to join them. We had never been on a Royal Caribbean cruise and we enjoyed the experience. The food in the main dining room and the Windjammer was excellent. Some of the best cruise food we have had on 3 different cruise lines. The service was not a 10 but was not bad. We felt like the staff could have smiled more; it was sort of hit and miss but no rude crew members. Things didn't always start on time and were at times a little unorganized but many activities to participate in and overall were enjoyable. Our room was always clean and we always love the towel animals placed in our room in the evening. We got the drink package which I feel saved us money as we enjoy our adult beverages. We were a little disappointed that we did not have a refrigerator in our room even in a large window room. The embarkation and debarkation were quick. The shore excursions were really nice; we went on the Lagoon Tour which was fabulous. The snorkeling was also very nice. We were disappointed that we did not get to make the CoCoCay stop but winds were high and safety was a concern. We were glad that they were concerned about safety. All in all we would take another Royal Caribbean cruise; next time we'll try a larger ship.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Room was nice; always clean. There was room to move around sufficiently. It was nice to have the large window; we usually book a balcony but decided this time to go with large window and weren't disappointed. There was some rust around the outside of the window that should have been taken care of; not really nice to look at when looking at the view. There was no refrigerator which we usually have and were a little disappointed that we didn't have one. Nice room and worth the money.
